The beaches of Cancun are justly famous. The blindingly white sand is a
product of coral, shell, and limestone, pounded and sifted by the Caribbean
surf, perfectly set off by the turquoise and ultramarine of the sea.
The sand reflects sunlight so well that it rarely gets hot enough to be
uncomfortable under bare feet.
