All international visitors require a Tourist Card to visit Mexico. The nationals of some countries are required to have, in addition, a visa issued by a Mexican Consulate with their passports and a Tourist Card.

Persons under the age of 18 are either required to travel with both parents, or legal guardians, or they will be required to travel with a notarized permission from the parent, parents or legal guardian not traveling along. This permit will allow the minor to travel by themselves, with only one parent, or in the company of a third person. In addition, any traveler can be required at the port of entry, by the immigration authorities to prove that he or she has enough financial means to travel in Mexico.

Nationals of your country, need to contact the nearest consulate of Mexico for their tourist card and visa requirements.

Minimum requirements, if traveling from the US are:

  1. VALID PASSPORT. (And copy of the first 3 pages).
  2. VALID VISA FOR THE US FOR MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND/OR VALID I-94 (And copy).
  3. PROOF OF ECONOMIC SOLVENCY, LIKE AN INTERNATIONAL MAJOR CREDIT CARD. (And copy).
  4. AIRLINE TICKETS, ROUND-TRIP (And copy) Itinerary.
  5. PAYMENT OF A FEE BY $29.00 (Cash, no personal checks and we don't accept $100 bills).
  6. THREE FRONT VIEW PICTURES, PASSPORT SIZE.
