DAY 1 HOMETOWN - VANCOUVER
Departure
from Vancouver B.C. port, embark around 5:30pm. Thus
begin your
discovery of the Alaska Gulf.
DAY 2 INSIDE PASSAGE
Sailing inside passage along the Gulf, enjoy onboard facilities
and try your luck in the Casino.
DAY 3
KETCHIKAN
Today arrive Alaska first city is also known as the "Salmon
Capital of the World". Visit Saxman Native Village and discover
its vibrant Tlight Indian culture and spectacular totem poles.
DAY 4
JUNEAU
Juneau, capital cit of Alaska, was part of Alaska's Gold Rush.
Visit monumental Mendenhall Glacier, the largest glacier
accessible by road.
DAY
5 SKAGWAY
Skagway was boomtowns at the Gold Rush days. This "Gateway to
the Klondike" is preserved as
a National Historic Park and features one of the oldest narrow -
gauge railroads in existence. Step back in time and stroll the
wooden boardwalks of this historic town.
DAY
6 GLACIER BAY
The icy wilderness of this spectacular national park and
preserve displays massive glaciers that stretch from the ice -
draped St. Elias and Fairweather mountain ranges to the ends of
majestic fjords. The park is also home to a spectacular world of
marine life, including humpback whales, sea otters, porpoises
and harbor seals.
DAY
7 COLLEGE FJORD CRUISING
One of the best glaciers viewing in the state can be seen at
College Fjord. Tucked into the northwest corner of Prince
William Sound, this fjord boasts the world's
largest collection of tidewater glaciers - sixteen of them,
named after Ivy League colleges by the Har
riman
Expedition that discovered them in 1899.
DAY
7 SEWARD (ANCHORAGE)
Today arrive Seward -- will disembark at morning. Transfer to
Anchorage, then fly back to home.
